PP Food Containers Generally Do Not Contain Plasticizers. PP (Polypropylene) Is A Linear Polymer With Excellent Heat Resistance And Chemical Stability, And Is Commonly Used In Microwaveable Containers And Other Food Packaging Materials. Because PP Is Inherently Transparent And Flexible, Adding Plasticizers Is Generally Unnecessary.
Experimental Results Show That PP Plastic Containers Do Not Release Plasticizers At High Temperatures. For Example, Sampled PP Plastic Containers Were Safe For Use At 120°C, With No Detectable Levels Of Plasticizers Or Heavy Metals.
When Using PP Food Containers, Note Their High-Temperature Resistance, Making Them Safe For Microwave Heating And Storage Of Hot Food And Beverages. Furthermore, While PP Does Not Contain Plasticizers, Containers Made From Other Materials, Such As PS (Polystyrene), Should Not Be Microwaved, As They May Release Harmful Substances At High Temperatures.
